  • Amy Assiter | Auctioneer
    Amy Assiter

    For the past four years, Assiter has succeeded in taking the auction industry by storm, amassing degrees of recognition that have taken some of her peers years to achieve. In February 1999, she won the Oklahoma State Auctioneers Association (OSAA) Rookie Champion, and in February 2000, she won the Oklahoma State Reserve Champion. She was the first female in the history of the association to achieve either of these levels. In July 2000, Assiter won her industry’s most coveted title of International Auctioneer Champion, (IAC) Women’s Division, upon her first time competing. She served as the Goodwill Ambassador for the National Auctioneers Association (NAA) during her reign as the IAC. This responsibility included raising money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through benefit auctions, conducting educational and motivational seminars and workshops nationwide, and working with the media on behalf of the auction industry.

    Assiter previously worked as a contract Auctioneer with many auction companies nationwide, including conducting everything from autos and heavy equipment auctions to gala benefit auctions and bison to real estate.

    Assiter has been working on educational designations within her field, such as the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) and AARE (Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate) and is highly active in the NAA, Texas Auctioneers Association (TAA) and the OSAA. She has served on many committees, including the St. Jude Fundraising Committee, the International Auctioneer Champion Competition Committee and the Membership Committee. Among her affiliations, she is also a member of Toastmasters, the National Association of Women Business Owners and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

  • Bruce Brooks | Auctioneer
    Bruce Brooks

    Brooks has been an Auctioneer for 30 years and has a passion for auctioning both real estate and cattle. Brooks auctions on average between 85 and 100 registered cattle sales per year when not auctioning homes for Williams & Williams across the nation. His cattle sales are primarily Limousin and Shorthorn breed sales.

    Brooks serves on the board of directors for the Oklahoma Limousin Cattle Association and the Love County, Oklahoma Soil Conservation Service. He is also an active member of the North American Limousin Cattle Association, the American Shorthorn Association, the American Angus Association, the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association and the Oklahoma Limousin Breeders Association. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University.

  • Cody S. Lowderman | Auctioneer
    Cody S. Lowderman

    Prior to joining Williams & Williams, Lowderman worked numerous cattle auctions and was involved with his family auction business, which specialized in farmland.

    Lowderman is a licensed Auctioneer in the state of Illinois, and a member of both the Illinois Auctioneers Association and the National Auctioneers Association. He was a member of the 2000 National Champion Livestock Judging Team. Lowderman is also a two-time winner for the high individual overall at the North American International Livestock Expo, and a winner for high individual overall at the National Western Stock Show. The Lowderman Auction Company was the first to sell bare farmland for $5,000 per acre within the Midwest Region. Lowderman has a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.

  • Danny Green | Auctioneer
    Danny Green

    Green comes from a family auction business and has been in the industry for 39 years. He has conducted thoroughbred, standardbred and quarter horse auctions nationwide. Green has also participated in farm and construction equipment auctions in the southwest, as well as auto auctions in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

    Green was named Texas State Champion Auctioneer in 1983-84. He served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Auctioneers Association from 1985-87. He is a former instructor at the MissouriAuctionSchool in Kansas City, and also at the DallasAuctionAcademy. Green is a licensed Auctioneer in several states. Most notably, Green has sold thoroughbreds and real estate in the millions on several occasions.

    Delvin Heldermon

    Delvin Heldermon is an auctioneer for the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based real estate auction and brokerage services firm, Williams & Williams. Heldermon attends live Williams & Williams’ real estate auctions, where he markets the property on behalf of the borrower/client and auctions it off to a third-party purchaser at the highest and best offer for the lender.

    Heldermon has experience auctioning purebred cattle. He has participated in the NCHA Futurity Horse Sale, the World Paint Horse Sale, and Standard-bred Horse Sales.

    Delvin Heldermon has set record-setting sales for Keeneland horses, Angus cattle, Brangas cattle, Cutting horses, Limousin cattle, Shorthorn cattle, and Standard-bred horses. Delvin Heldermon has also participated in the Cowboy Hall of Fame Art Auction, Ducks Unlimited and the Junior Livestock Show Premium Auctions.

    DeRon Heldermon

    DeRon Heldermon is an auctioneer for the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based real estate auction and brokerage services firm, Williams & Williams. DeRon Heldermon attends live Williams & Williams’ real estate auctions, where he markets the property on behalf of the borrower/client and auctions it off to a third-party purchaser at the highest and best offer for the lender.

    Heldermon has experience auctioning Limousin cattle across the U.S. He has also participated in art sales, horse sales, junior livestock auctions and benefit auctions.

    DeRon Heldermon is on the marketing committee for the North American Limousin Cattle Association. He has had exceptional sales at the National Limousin Sale in Denver, Colorado, the Annual Art Sale at the National Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, the Heritage Place Horse Sale, and the Oklahoma Youth Expo Junior Livestock Auction. He also participated in the Skelly Estate that grossed over $8-million in Tulsa, Oklahoma. DeRon Heldermon received a degree in agriculture education from Oklahoma State University.

  • Dick Carmichael | Auctioneer
    Dick Carmichael

    Carmichael has been involved in the auction business since 1970, with a focus during that time on purebred livestock. He served as the field man for various livestock publications including the Drovers Journal, Charolais Banner, Charolais Journal and Farm Progress Company.

    Carmichael has worked predominantly in the purebred beef cattle industry, but he has also had vast experience working ringside at alpaca sales, llama sales, Quarter Horse sales and Standardbred horse sales across the United States. In addition to working the ring, he owned his own purebred Charolais sale management business for 15 years. Carmichael conducted and managed over 200 auction sales in the United States and Canada, many of which set selling records that still stand today. He is a strong supporter of National Junior Breed Association fundraising activities, as well as those of the 4-H and FFA programs. Carmichael earned his bachelor’s degree in animal science from Purdue University.

    E.C. Larkin, Jr.

    E.C. Larkin, Jr. is an auctioneer for the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based real estate auction and brokerage services firm, Williams & Williams. Larkin attends live Williams & Williams’ real estate auctions, where he markets the property on behalf of the borrower/client and auctions it off to a third-party purchaser at the highest and best offer for the lender.

    Larkin has been working auctions for more than 35 years. He started working for a purebred cattle magazine shortly after college. He has been working for cattle publications ever since, which involves working purebred cattle auctions every week. He has worked the Keeneland Thoroughbred Horse Auctions in Lexington, Kentucky for more than 25 years. Larkin has also been involved in the Ocala Thoroughbred Horse Sales in Florida; the National Cutting Horse Futurity Sales in Fort Worth, Texas; Kentucky and Pennsylvania Standard bred horse sales; Texas Art Galleries in Dallas; and Altermann Galleries & Auctioneers in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He has also sold real estate and equipment.

    Larkin is a member and past president of both the Livestock Publication Council (LPC), and the South Texas Farm & Ranch Club. He’s also a member and current president of the Texas Purebred Cattle Alliance. Larkin is a certified Texas Real Estate Broker and a certified Texas Auctioneer. He earned his bachelor’s degree from East Texas State University. Most notably, E.C. Larkin, Jr. was inducted into the Livestock Publication Council Hall of Fame in 2001.

  • Gordon Kimberling, Jr. | Auctioneer
    Gordon Kimberling, Jr.

    With more than 30 years of experience in auctioneering, Kimberling has worked with such businesses as HB Green Furniture Auction, Stewart Allen Furniture Auction, Harrisburg Sales Co, TQHA Sale, All American Sale, Pacific Coast Sale and Fasig Tipton. He was also a ringman for Heritage Place and Louisiana Quarter Horse Association Sale. Kimberling is also the owner of Kimberling Furniture, a seven-year business.

    Kimberling is a member of the Better Business Bureau and Who’s Who of Furniture Business. He is also a member of the Burleson Chamber of Commerce.

    Kimberling attended Texas Wesleyan University and University of Texas at Arlington.

    Jack Hedrick

    Jack D. Hedrick is an auctioneer for the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based real estate auction and brokerage services firm, Williams & Williams. Hedrick attends live Williams & Williams’ real estate auctions, where he markets the property on behalf of the borrower/client and auctions it off to a third-party purchaser at the highest and best offer for the lender.

    Prior to joining Williams & Williams, Hedrick was a ring-man for JDH Marketing Services based in Columbus, Mississippi, where he was involved with consultation and sales management. Hedrick also held various positions at National Cattle Services and Purebred Cattle Sales where he gained expertise in sales, public relations and advertising. He was awarded as Ring-man for Purebred National Sales and received the Fit National Champion Purebred award.

    Hedrick earned his Bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University. He also attended Superior Auction School in Decatur. Jack Hedrick is a member of the National Cattleman’s Association, Alabama and Mississippi Cattleman’s Association and the past president of Mississippi Hereford Association.

    Jack L. Lowderman

    Jack L. Lowderman is an auctioneer for the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based real estate auction and brokerage services firm, Williams & Williams. Lowderman attends live Williams & Williams’ real estate auctions, where he markets the property on behalf of the borrower/client and auctions it off to a third-party purchaser at the highest and best offer for the lender.

    With more than 40 years of experience in auctioneering, Lowderman is the founder and owner of Lowderman Auction Company. In its 43 years of operation, Lowderman’s company has expanded to include services such as marketing of agriculture, residential and commercial real estate, personal property including machinery and equipment, antiques and collectibles, jewelry, specialty items, vehicles, and livestock.

    Lowderman has competed in and won numerous auctioneer championships over the last three decades. He holds memberships with the National Auctioneer Association, Illinois State Auctioneer Association, American Hereford Association and Beef Association. Lowderman has also served as president and board member of the Polled Hereford Association.

    Jack L. Lowderman is a graduate of Reisch College of Auctioneering and Certified Appraisal Institute. He also attended Quincy Business College.

  • James M. Birdwell | Auctioneer
    James M. Birdwell

    Birdwell has 25 years of auction experience, including purebred livestock auctions with all breeds of beef cattle. Birdwell has experience with Standardbred horse sales in Lexington, Ky.; Columbus, Ohio; and Harrisburg, Pa. He has also sold machinery and real estate and is licensed in several states. In 2005, Birdwell held more than 125 auctions in 30 states.

    Birdwell is a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, National Cutting Horse Association, and is currently serving as president of the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association.

    Birdwell earned his bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University.

  • Kevin Wendt | Auctioneer
    Kevin Wendt

    Wendt conducts over 125 purebred livestock auctions per year, selling beef cattle, swine, sheep, goats and miniature donkeys nationwide. Wendt was named the 2006 Ohio State Auctioneer Bid Calling Champion and served as president for the Ohio Auctioneer Association.

    He has also been the Advertising Contest Winner for Ohio, Indiana and the National Auctioneers Association. Wendt earned his bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University. He is a member of the National Auctioneers Association, Ohio Auctioneers Association and the Indiana Auctioneers Association. He obtained his real estate broker certification from Ohio and is actively licensed for auctioneering in 12 states. Wendt also holds several world records in sales and auctions.

  • Matt Sims | Auctioneer
    Matt Sims

    Sims is the owner and operator of MCS Auction, LLC, a purebred cattle auction and sales management firm based in Edmond, Okla., that conducts auctions across the United States.

    Sims also worked with Farm Progress Companies, as a livestock sales representative. He is a member of Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association, Oklahoma Angus Association and American Angus Association. Sims received his bachelor’s degree in animal science from Oklahoma State University, where he was a member of the 1991 National Champion Livestock Judging Team, and is a graduate of the Missouri Auction School.



  • Monte Lowderman | Auctioneer
    Monte Lowderman

    Monte Lowderman serves as an auctioneer for Williams & Williams Worldwide Real Estate Auction.

    Currently, Lowderman is involved in the family auction business, Lowderman Auction Company. He is also a partner of Lowderman Cattle Company, a family-owned Hereford breeding company that has operated for three generations, producing award-winning cattle.

    In 2007, Lowderman was elected to the National Auctioneers Association Board of Directors. He was recently selected as a finalist in the International Auctioneer Championship and is the Illinois State Champion Auctioneer. He also received the Outstanding Service Award selected by the Illinois Polled Hereford Association and the Contribution and Dedication Recognition from Ducks Unlimited.

    Lowderman earned his Bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University and graduated from the Missouri Auction School at the age of 19. Lowderman is a member of the National Auctioneers Association, American Hereford Association, American Angus Association, Illinois Beef Association and the National Cattlemen’s Association. He is also on the Board of Governors for the Illinois State Auctioneers Association.

  • C.K. Sonny Booth | Auctioneer
    C.K. Sonny Booth

    Sonny Booth has served as auctioneer for over 4000 registered cattle and horse auctions and numerous real estate auctions in 41 states and Canada during an auctioneering career than spans more than 30 years. Booth has auctioned five different breeds of cattle for National Auctions, and conducted numerous charity and benefit auctions for groups like Quail Unlimited, Junior Livestock, Buckmasters, and the Miami Arts and Humanities Art Auction. He is an auction school instructor at New Mexico State University.

    Booth graduated from Oklahoma State University, and was honored with the University’s Graduate of Distinction Award in 1995. He has served as President of the Board of Directors for the North American Limousin Foundation, and as a Director of the Oklahoma Limousin Breeders Association which honored him in 1997 with its Lifetime Achievement Award.

    Sonny Booth is a Board Member for the Express Ranches Junior National Scholarship Program, and is a member of the National Auctioneers Association.

    Tommy Barnes

    Tommy Barnes is an auctioneer for the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based real estate auction and brokerage services firm, Williams & Williams. Barnes attends live Williams & Williams’ real estate auctions, where he markets the property on behalf of the borrower/client and auctions it off to a third-party purchaser at the highest and best offer for the lender.

    For nearly 25 years, Barnes has owned and operated an auction business in Oklahoma selling purebred cattle. He later expanded his business to include oil field and construction equipment and real estate sales. Shortly after, he expanded his business once more to include US Marshall and Alabama state surplus sales. Currently, Barnes’ business sells cattle in 20 states.

    Tommy Barnes earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee. He is a member of the Alabama State Board of Auctioneers and has served as board chairmen for the last two years. Barnes is also a member of the Alabama Auctioneer Association and was awarded the Cattleman’s Association Auctioneer of the Year in 1999.

    Tommy Williams

    Co-founder of Williams & Williams

    Thomas L. Williams is a graduate of Penn State University (B.S. Animal Science) and the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI). Representing the third generation of Williams family auctioneers dating back to the mid-1800s, Williams is also a graduate of the historic Reppert School of Auctioneering. He has over 40 years experience in real estate auctions, land development and real estate investment.

    A founding partner of Williams & Williams, Williams served as president from 1986-2000, and became board chairman in 2001. He also co-founded and served as managing partner of Lowderman & Williams Auctioneers from 1965-85. He has conducted over 10,000 auctions in all 48 of the contiguous United States and Canada, and is an advisor to auctions conducted throughout Western Europe, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

    An avid cattleman, Williams also owned and operated Bradmar Angus Farms from 1965-85, after which he continued to serve as a herd and genetics consultant for many of the nation’s premier Angus cattle breeders.

    Williams is a licensed auctioneer and real estate broker in over 20 states, a member of the National Association of Realtors, and an active member of the NAA for which he served as 2007-2008 President.

  • Tom "Spanky" Assiter | Auctioneer
    Tom 'Spanky' Assiter

    Assiter founded his own auction company, Assiter & Associates Auctioneers, in 1983. He has since become one of the most dynamic and sought after auctioneers in the world. Assiter has conducted auctions across the United States, London and multiple times in Canada. He has conducted weekly engagements with wholesale auto auction companies in San Diego, Las Vegas, Dallas, Phoenix and Denver. These auctions hire Assiter weekly for the sale of factory automobile inventories including Honda, Jaguar, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Chrysler, Ford and General Motors.

    For the last 12 years in Scottsdale, Ariz., Assiter has sold the Barrett Jackson Classic Car Auction, which is billed as the greatest collector car auction in the world and is televised on SpeedChannel. He is currently one of five auctioneers for the Keeneland Thoroughbred Racing Association -- the largest Thoroughbred horse auction in the world. He has also sold Red Baron’s Architectural Antiques in Atlanta, Ga., which sells millions of dollars worth of antiques quarterly. He has twice worked with Superior-Livestock Auction Company. He has not only sold commercial cattle, but has also dabbled in purebred cattle and Arabian horse auctions.

    Assiter earned his master of business administration in 1981 and bachelor of science in speech-mass communications in 1979 at West Texas State University. He attended Indiana University in 1989 to obtain the Certified Auctioneer (CAI) designation. Assiter received his degree from World Wide College of Auctioneering in 1975. He has conducted seminars on the auction method of marketing at national conventions in Lexington, Ky.; Atlanta, Ga.; and Cancun, Mexico, and has spoken at over 50 state conventions. He is currently under contract as an instructor at the World Wide College of Auctioneering located in Mason City, Iowa, and has been a guest instructor at the World Champion College of Auctioneering in Bakersfield, Calif., the Texas Auction Academy located in Dallas and the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering in Highpoint, N.C.

    In 2007, Assiter was inducted into the National Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame. In 1991, at the National Auctioneers Association Convention held in Omaha, Neb., he was selected International Champion Auctioneer. He was recognized again in 1994 in Denver, when he was elected to the National Auctioneers Association's Board of Directors. He has served as chairman of the Public Relations Committee, chairman or member of the International Auctioneer Championship Committee for six years, member of the Long Range Planning Committee and on various other committees for the National Auctioneers Association. His list of achievements also includes being the 1991 Texas State Champion Auctioneer and serving as past president and in every office except secretary/treasurer for the Texas Auctioneers Association.
